COMMITTED TO THE ENVIRONMENT
We aim to enhance the environmental quality in South Africa through the foundations of environmental and developmental sustainability.
Our objective is to actively contribute to the planning and development process in such a manner that the impact on environmental conditions in the construction and operational stages of the development are reduced to the lowest possible levels, while still remaining feasible.
This is achieved through close engagement with the client, the town planner and/or the engineer or other relevant members of the project team. This exercise often culminates in an Environmental Management Programme (EMPr) that prescribes a practical means to enhance the positive impact and mitigate potential negative impacts. We are committed to ensure that natural and social environmental issues are addressed in all development projects
REC Services (Pty) Ltd specializes in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Management as well as Water Use License Applications (WULA) during the planning and development stages of a range of development projects.
The EIA processes form part of the application for authorization which is required in terms of the South African National Environmental Management Act (Act 107 of 1998) as amended (NEMA).
REC Services is a streamlined firm with an integrated approach to environment impact assessments, networking with expertise where necessary, while always keeping a holistic view on assignments.
